35MM WASHERS FOR WEIGHT(inside seat and outside weight) - Required Starting March 30 (Spring 4).
Our insurance company notified us that, due to a catastrophic accident involving a weight pulling through a seat, we need to ensure that all weights are properly secured with a 35mm washer, in addition to previous requirements.
New requirements for weights starting SPRING 4 (March 30, 2024) and as part of your regular kart setup for any track time:
Weights painted white
Marked with kart #
Secured with 5/16" bolts (1 bolt for under 7 lbs, 2 bolds for 7+ lbs)
Double nutted or drilled bolt safety-wired / cotter pinned
Secured with a 35mm washer on the inside of the seat and the outside of the weight
Karts will not be permitted on the track if they are not in compliance. We appreciate your help enforcing this for the safety of everyone. If a weight falls off a kart during a race, it will result in a DQ for the event.
HEAVY DUTY ZIP TIE WRAP FOR STARTER BATTERY - Required starting March 30 (Spring 4)
Starting Spring 4 (March 30, 2024) and as part of your regular kart setup for any on-track time, please use a heavy duty Zip Tie wrap to secure your onboard starter battery (suggested: 175 lb. Zip Tie) and label with the kart #.
Karts will not be permitted on the track if they are not in compliance. We appreciate your help enforcing this for the safety of everyone. If a battery falls off a kart during a race, it will result in DQ for the event.

It will be a separate purchase from the registration. We are doing this to help control our inventory to insure we always have tires for our customers.
You can find the link to purchase tires under the "Register" tab in the main navigation at the top of the page. Click on the "Tires" link once there.
