Welcome to a new year of racing! We are starting it off in a BIG way with a race series that will draw in plentiful competition due to the large purse offered by our much-appreciated sponsor, Maxwell Paper Company.

Next up for January, we will decide on any new rules or changes to old rules that the membership deems worthy of discussing at our an annual Rules Meeting on Jan 19. (see below for details)

There is an urgent call for all who are members to step-up and work a position at one or more of the Winter Series races to help make it a success. As usual, you will get work credit which can be used towards your annual membership renewal dues which are coming up soon.

This new year I am looking forward to a kinder membership crowd during weekend races and on social media. I can't stand any bickering that goes on. We are a family and while I know we all have differences, let's not bring them out at the track or in a post online; it shows up badly for others to see and can make for a bad reputation for our club. I will be watching and listening at all times. Don't make me be a bad guy because of any occurrences. Lets sail smoothly into this year.
