Well howdy folks, it's your old pal El Monte Slim saying come on out to go-kart town, man we got some good racing happening.

Seriously, with school starting up again I'm sure our racers will have a lot to say to their friends about their racing adventures. It's a word we need to spread to attract possible new members.

I hope all had a good summer. With the last night race coming up, we will move back to daytime racing. I hope the weather cooperates heat-wise.

The fall series is where the year championships are determined, watch for tight races in contested classes. I'm sure everyone has their works for the year in, I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on awards at our banquet.

For the adults, keep in mind that we will be needing a new group of officers to replace some of the ones that have fulfilled their elected positions. So if you want to have a say-so in club politics, step up this fall; the sting doesn't last that long.
